We’re looking for motivated people to join our Board to work with us to plan for the future of the Shoreline Farmers Market. Our mission is to bring together our community: neighbors, local farmers, and producers. We seek to support food access through our market programs.

What will the Board do?
In 2023, the Board will focus on:
- Developing 3-year strategic plan
- Creating a communication strategy that expands awareness in community, reaching those who are not yet engaged
- Obtaining 501 c3 status
- Building fundraising efforts to expand the market
- Continuing and expanding food access and educational programs
How will Board members participate?
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Engage in strategic planning & long-term solutions
- Volunteer during at least two markets each summer to connect with customers and vendors
- Join special project committees
- Serve a two-year term
- Spend a minimum of 5 hours per month/12 months a year on Market work
- Contribute to the financial success of the market through at least one of the following: donation of time, talent, treasure
