Keeping our community safe

The Shoreline Farmers Market is committed to creating a safe, sanitary, and healthy outdoor shopping experience for the Shoreline Community as we navigate COVID-19. We are, and will continue, to work closely with the WA State Health Department and the Seattle & King County Public Health Department to develop market plans that prioritize customer safety.

COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES UPDATE 6/29/2021

Masks are now optional at the Shoreline Farmers Market. Fully vaccinated individuals may opt out of wearing a face covering, however we continue to encourage unvaccinated individuals, high risk populations, and children to continue wearing face coverings for their safety and the safety of others.

We ask that you continue to give your neighbors space while shopping, use the designated entrance and exit, and be patient with other shoppers while we continue to navigate living in this new world together.

We will continue to monitor COVID and work with the Seattle King County Public Health Dept. to maintain safety guidelines to keep our community safe. Guidelines will be adjusted as necessary.

Continued Safety Measures:

  • Stay home if you are (or think you are) sick
  • Stay home if you have (or think you have) been in contact with someone who is sick
  • All vendors will separate cash and product handling, and ensure regular and proper handwashing
  • Surfaces and ‘high touch’ items such as tables, POS terminals, cash boxes, etc. will be sanitized regularly
  • Market  staff will be assigned to conduct regular and ongoing checks for handwashing stations, proper bleach solutions, and sanitizing supplies in addition to our regular food safety controls
  • Increased spacing between vendor booths
  • Hand sanitation stations will be available for customer use

It is  essential that we come together as a community to reduce the spread of  COVID-19.
